I’m writing to report a critical issue that has directly impacted my interview performance.

I have been using ParakeetAI for over a year, and it previously worked reliably for live interviews—capturing interviewer questions accurately and providing contextual responses (including coding and diagrams).

However, in recent weeks, the behavior has changed significantly:

  • During live interviews, instead of capturing the interviewer’s question, the tool shows messages such as: “transcript needs to be saved,” “attach documents,” or similar prompts.

  • As a result, the actual interviewer question is not captured or processed.

  • This leads to missed questions and breaks the interview flow entirely.

This issue has already caused me to lose two final-round interview opportunities. My spouse has experienced the same problem on a separate setup, so this does not appear to be an isolated case.

What’s concerning is that this functionality worked correctly before. The regression seems to be tied to recent updates.

I request the following:

  1. Immediate investigation of this issue affecting live interview capture.

  2. Option to revert to the previously stable version/configuration.

  3. A stable “Interview Mode” that prioritizes:

    • real-time transcription,

    • accurate question capture,

    • uninterrupted response generation (no blocking prompts).

  4. Clear guidance on any required settings to avoid these interruptions.

I am preparing for another important interview and need a reliable solution urgently. Please treat this as high priority.
