Recruiters are increasingly asking questions in different languages during interviews, which can be challenging when the language needs to be selected beforehand.
I would like to request an improvement to Parakeet AI's language handling. A few possible solutions could be:
Make the language selection a multi-select option, allowing users to choose multiple expected languages before the interview.
Add real-time language detection so Parakeet AI can automatically identify the language being spoken during the call and understand the question accordingly.
Allow users to select a preferred response language separately. For example, even if the interviewer asks a question in Hindi, Marathi, German, or another supported language, Parakeet AI could understand it and generate the suggested response in English.
Ideally, the system could dynamically switch between detected languages during the same interview without requiring any manual changes.
This would be especially useful for interviews where recruiters naturally switch between English and regional or other languages during the conversation.
I believe real-time language detection combined with a separate "Answer Language" preference would provide the most flexible and seamless experience.
