Hi ParakeetAI team,
I’m using ParakeetAI on macOS, and the screenshot feature is consistently failing with the message “Failed to take a screenshot.”
I have already checked:
System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording
and confirmed that ParakeetAI has the required permission enabled.
I also restarted ParakeetAI, but the issue still persists.
Expected behavior
When I trigger the screenshot feature, ParakeetAI should successfully capture the screen.
Actual behavior
The screenshot fails every time and displays:
“Failed to take a screenshot”
Troubleshooting already attempted
Confirmed Screen & System Audio Recording permission is enabled
Restarted ParakeetAI
Rechecked the macOS privacy permissions
Could you please investigate whether this is a known macOS screenshot/capture issue or if there are additional permissions or troubleshooting steps I should try?
