I’m experiencing an issue with screen sharing audio on your desktop application and I was hoping you could help me troubleshoot it.
Whenever I try to capture screen share with audio in the desktop app, I receive the following error message:
“Error Capturing Screen Share. Error: Could not start audio source.”
Here’s what I’ve noticed so far:
My microphone works correctly the transcript from it appears in the app.
However, system audio is not being captured at all (e.g., if someone is speaking in a call or audio is playing on my system, it is not transmitted).
This issue only occurs in the desktop application. When I use the browser version, audio capture works correctly.
I am using Windows 11 and a Logitech headset.
I have already tried:
Restarting my computer
Running the application as Administrator
Checking and adjusting microphone and audio permissions
Disabling Logitech G Hub software
Unfortunately, none of these steps resolved the issue.
Could you please advise on what might be causing this problem or suggest any additional troubleshooting steps? If needed, I can provide logs or further system details.
