Multiple Issues with Parakeet AI Desktop App (Unresponsive, Session Errors, Auto-Generate Not Working)

Dear Team,

I would like to report several issues I have been experiencing with the Parakeet AI desktop application recently. The performance has significantly degraded compared to January and February, when the application was working smoothly.

  1. Application Becomes Unresponsive & Session Errors While using the desktop app, it becomes completely unresponsive after 5–10 minutes. The application does not respond to any clicks and appears frozen. After some time, errors such as: “Session is not active” “Session is ended” are displayed, even though the session is still active. This issue has been consistently occurring since March.

  2. Auto-generate AI response feature is not working at all. I have to manually click for AI responses every time. This significantly impacts usability and productivity.

  3. Window Focus/Overlay Issue Steps to reproduce: Open Parakeet AI and start a session Open Paint application in full screen (Windows) Issue: Parakeet AI does not come to the front or overlay on top. It remains hidden behind the Paint window. This behavior was not observed in earlier versions.
    Additional Information OS: Windows 11 System performance: Good (application worked smoothly in Jan–Feb) Issue started: March (recent versions) Request Kindly provide a stable/latest version of the desktop application. Please investigate and resolve the above issues at the earliest.

The current experience is quite unsatisfactory compared to earlier versions, and I would appreciate your support in resolving these problems.
