Description:
While using ParakeetAI, mathematical and scientific equations are not displayed in a proper, readable format. Instead of structured mathematical expressions, the output appears as plain text with incorrect or broken formatting (e.g., square brackets, inline symbols, and lack of proper rendering).
Steps to Reproduce:
Use any available AI model in ParakeetAI
Ask a question involving mathematical or scientific equations (e.g., Schrödinger equation)
Observe the response formatting
Expected Behavior:
Equations should be displayed in proper LaTeX or well-formatted mathematical notation (clear fractions, symbols, and structured layout), suitable for academic and professional use.
Actual Behavior:
Equations are presented in plain text format with:
Improper brackets (e.g., [ ... ])
Inline symbols instead of formatted equations
Poor readability and structure
Impact:
This issue makes it difficult to use responses for academic purposes such as assignments, research work, and interview preparation, especially in technical fields like physics and chemistry.
Suggested Fix:
Enable LaTeX rendering for equations
Improve formatting engine for mathematical outputs
Provide an option to toggle “formatted math output”
Additional Notes:
Proper equation formatting is essential for users working in scientific and technical domains.
