I’ve been using ParakeetAI as my real time interview assistant, and after over 12 hours of active usage on the platform, I’ve gathered some specific feedback on how to make the tool even more effective for high stakes rounds.

Here are two key areas I believe need attention:

1. New Feature: "Technical Interview Mode"

I've noticed that current responses can lean toward being too theoretical or "textbook." In a fast-paced technical round, efficiency and precision are vital.

• The Request: Introduce a "Technical Mode" toggle that shifts the AI’s focus to concise logic, code first explanations, and specific engineering trade offs (like Big O complexity).

• The Goal: To provide direct, high impact answers that match the expectations of a technical lead rather than a general recruiter.

2. Critical Bug: Conversation Segmentation & Lag

During my extended use, I encountered a recurring issue when an AI note-taker is present in the meeting.

• The Issue: The app often fails to distinguish between a previous discussion and a new question. It records the session as one ongoing conversation rather than segmenting it.

• The Impact: This causes a significant lag where the AI fails to generate any answer at all. I’ve been left stranded a few times during interviews because the tool didn't "realize" a new question had been asked.

• Suggested Fix: Improved "speaker/question diarization" or a manual "Reset Context" button to force the AI to process the most recent audio as a fresh prompt.

Having spent significant time with the application, I see its massive potential and hope these insights help your team refine the experience for technical candidates.
